I enjoyed the course so much. It got me really excited about the path I have chosen and Mel offered loads of sensible, practical tips and reassurance about what lies ahead. It was also brilliant to connect with other people in the same situation. The WhatsApp group will be invaluable support. A really wonderful course that I gained so much from

I really enjoyed the course. It helped me to think about how I communicate my choice to become a solo mum. It was great connecting with other mums to be who are also pregnant and who have some of the sane questions and concerns as me at this point. Mel is very approachable and extremely knowledgeable. Thanks for a great course

I did this course in September 2023 and although on 9 weeks pregnant at the time, the course gave me some fantastic practical tips about how to raise my child, as well as how to prepare for single motherhood. Great tips on communication to others around my journey . I also loved being introduced to other women who i am still in contact with, on the same journey. It’s thought provoking and left me with emotional issues i knew I had to address before my child is born and i’ve taken steps to put those to rest following some interesting discussions. Thank you Mel for your warmth and dedication. You really are a guiding light on this path !

What a fantastic course! Mel gives honest, practical advice for solo mums to be and adding her own experiences made this a really beneficial course. It was great to meet a group of expectant solo Mums and share our concerns and experiences. Would 100% recommend.

Having done Choosing Solo before, I knew that I wanted to do P2T if and when my journey was successful. Mel is great, and the course was a mixture of structured presentation with the time available to handle any individual issues that came up as it went along. Another great feature of the course is the WhatsApp group and it is great to have a group of women in a similar situation to bond with in the exciting next few months to come. Thank you!

Another brilliant course (I participated in Choosing Solo in 2020) and an absolute must for solo mums-to-be! It was so lovely to be able to connect with other ladies in my position and to listen about and discuss topics relevant to us in a friendly, chilled out and confidential space. Mel has done a wonderful job of taking her knowledge and experience and putting it into an easy to digest format.

I know some people who are having babies soon, and I know some people who’ve gone through IVF etc… but I particularly wanted to connect with some other women who are embarking upon becoming a solo mum, like me, and I knew none…
It was such a positive and encouraging experience to meet this group, to share our stories, to feel comfortable asking questions and to learn from each other as well as Mel who is such a great coach and has a ton of wisdom and experience to share.

And now we know we are connected and here for each other as we go through this new stage in our lives.

  12. Elizabeth

Its so important to have a tribe that have relatable experiences on this unique journey we are on. Course is also packed full of brilliant tips and helpful mindset hacks to prepare for whats coming..

I really enjoyed Mel’s course. It has made me feel less alone, and more empowered. Knowledge is power, as they say, and the course is jam-packed full of advice, recommendations for further learning, ideas on how to connect with other mums etc. There’s opportunity in each session to ask your own questions too. I feel much less anxious, and much more excited about solo motherhood after doing the course.

I would 100% recommend this course and Mel! I found the course hugely supportive and reassuring, the content covered all potential areas of concern going forward with Mel providing helpful, positive advice and strategies. It was lovely knowing everyone in the group really gets it and this enabled open and honest discussions. Mel was brilliant and we now have our WhatsApp group for ongoing support as our little ones arrive in the world. Priceless!

A fantastic course, led by the wonderful Mel, who is such a thoughtful, considered coach. Every aspect of the course was completely relevant, helpful and reassuring. All the tips for both the practical aspects and for getting yourself into a positive mindset are invaluable. I loved the way Mel connected the participants via WhatsApp at the start of the course – it was wonderful to be able to instantly share that my scan went well with a group of women who fully understood and shared in my joy, and I loved being able to reciprocate as they had their scans and shared their news. A lovely group of women who I’m so pleased to now have in my “mum tribe”. Thank you so much, Mel!

I was feeling quite overwhelmed by my future single motherhood journey at 22 weeks pregnant when I started this course. Having completed this course I feel empowered, more confident and less daunted about everything that surrounds having to do this on your own. I didn’t realise other single Mum’s were also experiencing what I initially thought were my own personal silly worries and we were able to talk about them together and determine positive thoughts and ways forward to manage these. I highly recommend this course, Mel is open, sensitive, supportive and has fantastic experience in this area. Thanks Mel, keep up the good work!

A really helpful and well thought out course. Mel helped put a lot of what has been in my head into an order that makes it easier to process and it was so positive and reassuring to hear that lots of other solo mums to be are having exactly the same thoughts, along with some great strategies for coping solo and making mumhood the best experience. I would recommend doing the course fairly early in your pregnancy to get maximum benefit. Thank Mel! x
