Course Format:
– 3 x 90 minute sessions
– Connect by video dial in using Zoom
– Explore weekly content as a group
– Solo Mum Group coaching and the opportunity to ask your own questions to cover any personal areas of interest
Course Cost:
All courses are £40 for the total of 4.5 hours of group coaching in 3 x 1.5 hour sessions over 3 weeks (Going up to £50 in 2020)
Participants:

Course Content:
Week 1:
- Introductions to the course and the participants
- Making the decision to start the journey to solo motherhood
- Grieving for letting go of the traditional route to motherhood
- Getting your friends and family on board
Week 2:
- Reviewing your finances and your options
- Choosing a clinic or alternative path
- Deciding on a suitable treatment or method of conception
- Donor selection
Week 3:
- Preparing yourself and your body for your fertility journey
- Managing treatment solo
- Your support network
- Planning for the future
The course is designed for women at the beginning of their journey who need to understand their options.
PREPARING TO THRIVE:
GROUP COACHING FOR PREGNANT SOLO MUMS TO BE
Course Content:
Week 1:
- Introductions to the course and the participants
- Building your support network; who you’ll really need to help you and what you’ll need help with
- Guidance on asking for help and not trying to be a super hero
Week 2:
- Confidence in sharing your story
- Preparing for antenatal classes
- Dealing with comparison and interacting with others with the ‘perfect’ family life
Week 3:
- Managing solo throughout pregnancy and beyond
- Thriving as a solo mum; productivity tips
- Taking care of yourself and being kind to yourself
The course is designed ideally to be attended prior to NCT or other antenatal classes as there is an element of preparing you for traditional classes.

THRIVING SOLO:

- Making the most of evenings and weekend
- Dating as a solo mum
Week 2:
- Productivity tips for managing solo
- Balancing work and family life
- Self care and being kind to yourself
Week 3:
- Childcare
- Going on holiday
- Finding donor siblings
- Managing finances
- Making a will
- Trying for a second child
The course is designed for women who are already solo mums who would benefit from reviewing how to live their lives the best way possible.
